To ensure core watchlist synchronization and features function seamlessly, we process the following categories of data:
- OAuth Authentication Metadata: When logging in via Google, we extract your primary email address, display name, and profile image URL directly from your secure Google account.
- Credential Profiles: For standard signups, we save your custom username, verified email address, and encrypted credential hashes.
- Watchlist Analytics: We store your personal watchlist metadata, custom ratings, completion status, and episode tracking progress.
2. Purposes of Data Processing
We process your data strictly under standard service provision guidelines, specifically to: Maintain real-time synchronization of your movie and TV series watchlist, save personal UI/UX configurations across devices, and prevent unauthorized exploitation of API endpoints and database storage.
3. Data Architecture and Isolation
All data is processed securely through Google Cloud Firestore. We implement rigid per-user data isolation rules, ensuring that users can only access or modify their own private records. We strictly enforce that your personal information and watchlist records are never shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third-party marketing networks or analytics platforms.
4. User Autonomy & Account Deletion
Users maintain full autonomy over their profiles. You can download a complete backup of your watchlist data in JSON format directly from your Settings pane. You also have the right to permanently erase your profile and all synced watchlist data instantly by choosing "Delete Account" in the Settings area. This action is irreversible.
